An Important Update from Canadian Pigeon International

For nearly a decade, Canadian Pigeon International has been dedicated to sharing knowledge, stories, and the passion of racing pigeons with fanciers across Canada and around the world.

From our very first issue to today, CPI has grown into a global voice for the sport—publishing over 100 monthly magazines, thousands of articles, and bringing together some of the finest writers and contributors in pigeon racing. This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision that the May 2026 issue will be the final issue of Canadian Pigeon International magazine.
This decision has not been made lightly. Producing CPI has always been a labour of love—but also a significant commitment of time and energy. At this stage, it is no longer possible to continue at the level our readers have come to expect and deserve.

Our responsibility to our readers and supporters remains our top priority.

What CPI Achieved
Together, we built something meaningful:

• A voice for education, health, and biosecurity in the sport 
Most importantly, CPI became a place where the pigeon community could learn, share, and grow together.

Looking Forward
While the magazine chapter is coming to a close, the work itself is not finished.
There are still important projects ahead—
supporting fanciers, promoting education, working with organizations, and advancing initiatives such as community outreach and veteran support programs.
CPI may be closing as a magazine, but its purpose continues.
